Federal Reserve Bank
When the Federal Reserve Bank constructed an addition, they hoped to locate and install marble that would match the original façade on the 1920s building. The original quarry was identified and the marble was special ordered to match the stone façade. The stone is extra thick, due to the enhanced security that the bank requires. To make it a permanent façade, stones were engineered with stainless steel anchors to affix them to the backup.
